About the Founder
Hi! I'm Simay, a former lawyer turned jewellery designer.
After years of working in law, I found myself drawn back to the creativity I had loved since childhood. What began with a silversmithing course in London soon became something much bigger.
Stepping away from law led me back to something I had always been drawn to: freedom, playfulness, and creating without following rules or convention.
SIMAE was born from that tension I experienced in my personal life: structure and softness, elegance and edge, tradition and self-expression.
For me, jewellery has always been more than an accessory. It is a marker of identity. A small but powerful reminder of confidence, independence, and self-worth.
So I created SIMAE for women who are not afraid of starting over, leaving when it is not enough, and expressing themselves unapologetically through the way they move through the world and the pieces they choose to wear.
